In this webinar, Dr. Rebecca Blankenship will share an overview of the State of Florida’s educational support provisions for students representing diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds for whom English is not their first language. This discussion will be rich in best practices within TESOL methodology that have been implemented support language learners. The presentation will cover the differences between English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) vs. English as a Foreign Language (EFL), as well as standards and requirements of teaching, education preparation, English training practices, and more.
